Is there really an association between childhood obesity and fast food? The response will change depending upon whom you involve in the question. Evidently the fast food industry prefer to deny such a connection. But parents will do well to consider the facts. Obesity is not just a problem of how a youngster looks. It also stands for many dangerous and often fatal health conditions. Being heavy is associated with bronchial asthma, arthritis, joint damage, cardiopathy, diabetes, many types of cancer, gout, sleep apnea, respiratory distress, and chronic pain. So, considering whether or not childhood obesity and fast food are affiliated can mean saving a child’s health. Let’s consider this matter a bit closer.
